We are proud of our beautiful accommodation with tennis and padel courts and the large number of volunteers that keep our club running. We manage the park ourselves and therefore our members actively participate in committees and conduct regular bar services. Our club’s primarily focus is on recreational tennis and padel, but we also offer training to our members and we participate in KNLTB competitions. For the very talented youth members, there is a partnership between all Veldhoven tennis associations, so they can participate in tennis training at their own level.
How do you stay up to date?
Please note that most of our communication is in the Dutch language. You can use an online translator (like Google translate) to translate the information in your preferred language.

All up-to-date information about Metzpoint can be found on our website www.metzpoint.nl. All announcements and registration forms of activities are posted on this website. You will also find our court regulations, the court reservation regulations, the bar service regulations and our code of conduct. The website contains further information or explanations about various topics mentioned in this document.
KNLTB Club App:
We use the KNLTB ClubApp to inform members. You can configure this app to send push messages when important news is available. The ClubApp provides an overview of our members, contains a calendar with all our activities and you can plan your bar services and reserve courts through the ClubApp. The ClubApp is also linked to KNLTB competition information. Use of this ClubApp is essential to keep yourself up-to-date with all announcements and the latest news: download the app now in the App/Playstore. You can register with your KNLTB number (password can be obtained through “forgot password”).
Facebook and Instagram:
TPC Metzpoint has a Facebook page for external communication.
There is also a closed member-group where we post announcements and members can post messages themselves. Join our own group now: @TPC Metzpoint (Inside).

E-mail:
We sometimes use e-mail to provide members with specific information. Keep your e-mail address up-to-date. You can change your e-mail yourself in the ClubApp.
Our park, the pavilion and our padel and tennis courts
On weekdays, our park is open from 8:30 AM to 11:00 PM. In weekends, the park closes at 10:30 PM in summer and at 10:00 PM in winter (from November 1 to March 1). During the opening hours of the park, the toilets, changing rooms and showers are available in our INTERMETZZO pavilion. The court reservation system is also accessible when the park is open. Note that the bar is not always open.
You can reserve a tennis or padel court with your KNLTB member card on the court reservation system in the hallway of our pavilion. Courts can also be reserved “remotely” using the ClubApp.
Metzpoint has Advantage Red-Court tennis courts. Special shoes for this type of court are recommended. If required, please inquire at a sporting goods store.
Our padel courts have an artificial grass surface. You can use the same shoes as for the tennis courts.
In our pavilion we pay cashless, with PIN, with your KNLTB card or with Twelve’s Knip app. Paying with your KNLTB card or Knip app works like a prepaid card. The balances of the KNLTB card and the Knip app are coupled. You can charge your card at the cash register with your bank card (PIN) or with iDeal on the Knip app and you pay for consumptions with your KNLTB pass or with the Knip app.
We prefer payment with KNLTB card or Knip app over PIN payment because the operational costs are lower.
Playing and getting to know people
Adults:
One of the ways to quickly get to know Metzpoint is the toss evening on Tuesday evening from 6.45 pm to 9 pm. You can participate without advance registration. You will be assigned one or more half-hour matches of tennis or padel with/against other Metzpoint members at your own level.
There are WhatsApp groups for both tennis and padel where you can organize free-play matches with Metzpoint members. We have different groups for different levels. To join a group, please send a WhatsApp message to Luuk van Gaalen (06-50834493) for tennis and/or to Maarten van Lisdonk (06-13415547) for padel.
Youth:
On Wednesday afternoon, juniors can freely introduce a friend that is not a Metzpoint member.
Internal winter competition tennis
In addition to the possibility to participate with a team in the various (external) KNLTB competitions, Metzpoint also organizes a so-called internal winter competition. Participation in this tennis doubles competition is free of charge. As a couple you can register for the mixed doubles on Monday night, ladies’ double on Tuesday morning and Wednesday evening and for men's doubles on Thursday evening. There are groups at different levels. The games last one hour and are on our own park against other Metzpoint members. You will be informed via the KNLT ClubApp about registration and competition days. See our website for more information about this competition.
Internal ladder competition padel
For padel players there is the possibility to participate in a free internal ladder competition. You can find more information about this competition on our website.
Bar services
To keep the costs of membership and the prices of drinks and snacks in our pavilion attractive, the adult members (age 18 to 70) perform mandatory bar services. Each year, the amount of bar duty points to be obtained is announced. Every service corresponds to a certain number of points which is available in the ‘Club/Diensten’ tab in the ClubApp.
So, as an adult member, you are expected to plan bar services. Our bar service planning group will contact you with more information about this.
